Welcome To Our Site....Come On In!!
We are glad that you have taken a second to stop by and find out more about exactly what we do here. Feel free to stay for just a few minutes and explore the pages that follow and find out if the products that we create and handcraft are the types of items you are looking for. We feel as though we can fill almost any need you may have in the area of custom architectural woodworking. Our artisans are highly-skilled and have a keen eye on the small details that make up the intricacies of custom woodworking. Whether it's a door, a window, or some other component that you need for your home or office, the people and spirit that makes up CWI can probably get it done for you.
In the navigation bar above, you will find several buttons that will help guide you through our products and the procedures and services that we offer to get them done for you on-time and on budget. We are big believers that the best type of customer you can have is a happy customer, and that is why we try and treat every customer, no matter the size, as if they are our only focus. However, for someone who is just now hearing about us or wandered onto this website, you may be asking yourself: "Well, what does CWI do?"That's a great question and now it's time to get started.
This page is located in the far upper left corner of the navigation bar above and referred to as the Table of Contents, though it is really the Home page for the entire site. If you ever need to get back to the beginning, this is what you should see. To the right of that, there is a tab marked Who Is CWI?. This tab gives the general background on the company, as well as its Mission Statement and any other general info that you may have been curious about but couldn't find elsewhere. Next, there is a tab called Wood Doors, the bread-and-butter of our business. We and our staff have been manufacturing some of the finest wood entry units for over 20 years and can build almost any size and shape that you imagine. This is the section that you should really be careful to read and understand completely so that you can see why we are so successful in our field. The following tab is titled Wood Windows, and it pretty much spells out the in's and out's of what make our wood windows shine above all others. From stationary picture units, to double hungs, to casements & transoms, this section will help to explain how we can help you.
The 5th tab from the left is Historic Renovations. We feel that this needed a section by itself, because frankly we spend a lot of our time painstakingly recreating masterpieces from a bygone era. Items that have been lost to time can now be matched and put back into existing holes to make an older preserved home look new again. Whether it's Putty Glazed SSB windows, sashes or doors, Antique Sinker Cypress windows, or custom large Heart Pine trim, our experts can bring almost any lost art back to life. The final tab on the first line is Components, which includes our custom mouldings, door jamb parts, bent heads, and last but not least, our multi-piece window grid components. This system is designed for any homeowner or remodeler to be able to retro-fit any older one-lite windows with custom paint-grade SDL bars in virtually any configuration you desire. In addition, our Duragrain SDL bars can make any stainable fiberglass door system look like the wood classic doors of years before. This is a large section to take in all at once, so plan to stay a while.
The second navigation bar line includes tabs about our Specialty Items (brackets, balusters, wood countertops, shutters, etc.), the Services we offer (in-house CAD design, limited Installation, Priming), and the different Wood Species that we currently offer in almost all of our products. Finally, there are sections for keeping up to speed on our latest product offerings (CWI News), accessing our most common company documents (Download Forms), and our current contact information on where, when and how to get in touch with us and tell us what you think (Contact & Feedback).
So now that you've been given the brief guidelines, what are you waiting for? Come on in and look around!
